The HWA Titantron comes to life as HWA Sunday Night Survival kicks off. We see various scenes from Last Man Standing.
The cameraman has almost reached position and it's clear that Starr has been knocked down and run over as two legs are sticking out from underneath the ambulance.
TB: This is absolutely sick.
The camera reaches the site of the collision and what we see is not what we expected. David Jackson's limp body lies in front of the ambulance. Both of his legs crushed, and one arm in the opposite direction to what it should be. If Jackson is not dead, he is clearly never going to be able to walk again.
TB: What the hell? What the hell.... Jackson?? JACKSON?!
KK: Trent, you won't believe what just happened.
TB: Keith, What the hell is Jackson doing down there, what happened?
KK: Well I can't believe me eyes. The ambulance was aimed right at Danny Starr, and Jackson threw himself in front of the ambulance, he knocked Starr to the ground. The ambulance went right over Starr leaving him unhurt. Jackson got hit. I can't fucking believe this.
TB: Oh my God!
The ambulance crews get right to work on Jackson, but they clearly can't do much for him without fear of breaking his back. The cameraman instead switches view to the top of the ambulance, where Decado now stands, looking on.
TB: Decado.... On top of the ambulance!
KK: I almost forgot we have a match on here!
TB: Shit, is this still happening?!
Danny Starr checks on David Jackson, clearly concerned for his boss's welfare, regardless of the animosity between the two of them. Then, he slowly stands, looking up at Decado. Decado beckons for him to meet him up on top of the ambulance.
TB: What the hell? No way, this CANNOT be happening.
Danny Starr climbs up onto the front of the ambulance, and then finally heaves himself up to the top. Decado greets him with lefts and rights; Starr struggles, and tries hard to keep his footing. He does recover though and launches forward with a speer, both men collapsing onto the top of the ambulance.
KK: Are you still getting this back in the arena Trent?
TB: Yes, they're still fighting, on top of the ambulance.
KK: This is unreal.
The camera angle shifts and Jackson has been loaded into the back of the ambulance. The ambulance crew slam shut the doors and get into the front. Keith Kincaid sees what is happening, and turns toward the ambulance.
KK: NO!
TB: OH my God!
But it's too late. The ambulance crew was too busy with Jackson and failed to realize that Starr and Decado were on top of the ambulance. They start to drive out of the parking lot.
TB: Somebody stop the ambulance!
KK: WAIT!!!!!
The ambulance, siren on, accelerates out of the arena and out towards the road.
KK: My car, quick!
Keith grabs the cameraman and bundles him into Keith's car. Wallace Cunningham also jumps into the back. Keith backs his car out and starts to give chase to the ambulance.
TB: When is this going to end? This is getting crazy.
The view now switches to the front of Keith's car, looking through the windscreen. The ambulance is not in sight initially, but the siren can be heard in the distance.
KK: Fucking shit, get the fuck out of the fucking way!
TB: Keith, I know you can't hear me now, but you need to watch your language!
Wallace Cunningham laughs from in the back seat.
KK: Remind me, Wallace, why DID you come along?
WC: These guys are still in the middle of a match, and well, DAMN! I'm gonna make sure we get s result!
KK: But this thing is gonna end up in the middle of some highway somewhere! GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY ASSHOLE!
WC: But jeez Keith, Jackson already sacrificed himself for the good of this match. We owe it to him to see this thing through.
TB: Guys! David Jackson is IN the ambulance you're chasing! Dammit, you can't hear me can you....
The ambulance comes into view, and Keith floors the accelerator. The cameraman tries to zoom in on top of the ambulance which he does but the focus and the aim are both poor. Blood is pouring off Danny Starr's head.
KK: Looks like Decado has been doing a number on Starr while we've been gone. Here, watch this!
Keith sounds the horn and flashes the lights at the ambulance. The ambulance does not slow down.
KK: Shit, those goddamn mother fuckers still haven't realized they got two extra passengers!
WC: Man, even if they did, they probably more worried about Jackson right now.
But the horn and the lights DID attract the attention of Danny Starr, whose bloodied face peers gingerly over the edge of the ambulance, and realizes who is following them.
KK: DANNY, GET THEM TO STOP!
TB: Keith, talk about the damn obvious! DAMMIT YOU NEED TO HEAR ME!
KK: Starr's head disappears and then the camera zooms in further. Starr grabs Decado by the head and plants it hard into the top of the ambulance. Decado is now also a bloody mess. Danny Starr re-angles himself behind Decado. He starts to shove Decado towards the edge.
TB: Oh no.
KK: OH my Fucking GOD!
Starr half throws, half shoves Decado off the edge of the speeding ambulance! Decado manages to get a hand on the rail which goes around the top of the ambulance. He is now precariously hanging off the back off the ambulance.
TB: This has gone WAY too far.
KK: What the hell do we do!?
Keith tries to get the car close to the back of the ambulance, perhaps thinking he could give Decado the option to jump on to their car. Decado sees the car behind them, glancing back. In that instant though, Danny Starr elbows the one hand of Decado's hanging onto the ambulance. Decado loses his grip and flies backward. He lands full pelt in the windscreen of Keith Kincaid's car. Kincaid, unable to see now, loses control of the car. The cameraman, still hanging out of the window manages to pick up a blur of movement. And by the thud sound we hear, it becomes apparent that Danny Starr had leapt off the ambulance and onto Decado's prone body, lying on the blistered windscreen.
TB: OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! NOW THAT HAS TO BE THE ABSOLUTELY CRAZIEST FUCKING THING I EVER SAW!!! DANNY STARR JUST LEAPT FROM THE AMBULANCE AND ONTO KEITH'S SPINNING CAR, PUSHING DECADO EVER FURTHER THROUGH THE WINDSCREEN!
KK: HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!
Keith's car spins to a halt. All that Keith can see is the splintered glass of his windscreen, all cracked to pieces, plus a HELL of a lot of blood too. Keith brings the car to a complete stop, Wallace and Keith manage to get out of the car, the cameraman shortly afterwards. They survey the scene, standing in the middle of the street. Decado has taken some serious punishment. His body caused the entire windscreen to collapse pretty much. Danny Starr is in no better condition, though he obviously drove Decado further into the windscreen, causing much more pain, but is on top. Wallace Cunningham slaps his hand three times on the car's roof.
KK: What the hell are you doing?!
WC: Danny Starr just won the match! He's on top! He pins, he wins!
KK: The match can't end like this!!
WC: Are you gonna stand there and tell me they're gonna want to carry on after THIS!?
We return to the arena, where Trent Brown is standing in the centre of the ring. The crowd are on their feet, giving both men a standing ovation - not that they can hear it of course.
TB: Ladies and Gentlemen. We promised you a historic night. I don't think a single person in this arena can believe what we witnessed this evening. I take my hat off to both Danny Starr AND Decado. I also tip my hat to David Jackson who saved the life of Danny Starr. For what reason? I don't know. We many never know now. Folks what a night. Please give it up for the 2005 Last Man Standing - Danny Starr! He has become the only man to win Last Man Standing not only twice, but now THREE TIMES! In the history of this event there has never been a man dominate it like Danny Starr. Like him or hate him LMS is what he gets up for.
(Danny Starr is celebrating on the screen as LMS is getting ready to go off air when suddenly the lights go out again. Blue and red strobes start flashing as the countdown clock comes up to the screen again.)
00:00:09
00:00:08
00:00:07
00:00:06
00:00:05
TB: I'd forgotten about this countdown! It’s finally time to find out who this is.
00:00:04
00:00:03
00:00:02
00:00:01
00:00:00
(The screen them goes completely black. Bright red words start flashing across the screen.)
NOW IS MY TIME
(Just then "November Rain" by Guns 'N' Roses starts blaring and everyone in the arena knows what that means. Starr jerks his head up to look down the entrance ramp and he knows that song very well. White pyro starts blasting all over the place making the actual wrestler's entrance disappear. the pyro subsides and a man 7'1 and around 340 lbs is left standing there. The arena is deafening as everyone knows the HWA Hall of Famer standing there.)
TB: OH MY GOD IT'S JUDGE! JUDGE IS BACK THERE'S NO WAY THIS CAN BE REAL.
(Judge produces a microphone from the inside of his leather trench coat as the crowd goes into a hush waiting.)
Judge: You know something HWA? I have seen this day in my dreams, for two years I have dreamed of this exact moment. I have to be honest for a while I didn't think it was gonna happen, but here I am BABY.
(The crowd goes absolutely nuts. Danny Starr is still celebrating on the screen, quite unaware as to what is happening back in the ring.)
Judge: Danny you can relax. I didn't come here for you. You just happen to be the man in the HWA right now, but honestly we have had our battles and I have more respect for you then anyone other then TCO. But it seems fitting doesn't it; I mean you ended my career so it only seems fair that I get the chance to ruin your triumphant night by making the biggest return in wrestling history. Really Danny we have had our nights, I'm not looking to reopen our files as that part of my life is over, this is a new day in the HWA. This is my day. HWA you have just been put on notice, the king is back, and I won't stop, I won't sleep, I won't be happy until I have climbed the ladder back to where I rightfully belonged all along.
(With that "November Rain" hits again and the Judge just stares down towards the ring he has missed for over two years with the arena almost completely deafening, enough that Trent has to yell to be heard.)
TB: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WHAT A NIGHT, WHAT A LAST MAN STANDING, JOIN US NEXT WEEK ON SURVIVAL. FOR KEITH KINCAID, I'M TRENT BROWN GOODNIGHT.
As the scene goes off the screen pyro starts shooting all over the arena and the fans come to life signaling the start of HWA Sunday Night Survival. Trent and Keith are sitting in the booth as usual.
KK: Trent all I can say is wow. Last Man Standing was truly the best PPV in the history of HWA with more surprises then anyone could have imagined.
TB: I’m still in shock over everything that went down.
KK: Trent wait a minute I understand we have footage from David Jackson’s hospital bed.
The scene cuts to David Jackson struggling in a hospital bed, he has had both legs amputated just above the knee and is hooked up too so many machines he can barely move. He is trying to reach a cell phone just next to his bed but can’t seem to get there. A final burst of energy and he just gets the phone in his grasp. He dials a number and sit there for a minute before the other end is picked up.
DJ: Hey it’s me…..Yeah I know you saw everything that happened……Look I need a favor…….I need someone to run HWA for a little while can you handle that…….Alright I’ll be talking to you later.
Jackson hangs up the phone and slumps back down into his bed.
KK: Trent did you just see that?
TB: David Jackson has had both legs amputated and it looks like though we are going to have a new man in charge of the HWA, but who could it possibly be?
KK: I don’t know Trent.
(Erin Wallace is seen running through the backstage area with a camera in hot pursuit obviously looking for someone. She rounds a corner and slows down as she has obviously spotted who was looking for. Judge, Draven, and Judge's son Jacob are then seen walking down the hall towards a dressing room.)
EW: Judge, Judge wait up.
(Judge stops and turns around to meet Erin.)
Judge: Oh Erin it's been a long time. What can I do for you?
EW: I was wondering if you could answer a few questions before you hit the ring tonight.
Judge: Sure but I only have a minute.
EW: Ok well this is going to be your first match in two years, you think there will be any ring rust?
Judge: No Erin I've been training and staying in shape. Draven has been working with me and having a six year old always keep you in shape.
EW: Yeah I never knew you had a son.
Judge: Yes Erin his name is Jacob, Jacob say hi to Ms. Wallace.
Jacob Hi Ms. Wallace.
EW: So precious. Judge why did you never bring your son to the shows when you first wrestled in HWA?
Judge: Well see his mom died in child birth and I was dead broke at the time. I didn't want a newborn to travel the road with me so he stayed with his grandparents. But I think he's old enough now and this is something that I want him to be a part of.
EW: So is that what brought you back? Because that is the question on everybody's mind.
Judge: Among other things yeah. You know sometimes you just gotta see if you still got it.
EW: So Draven does this mean a return to the ring for you as well?
Draven: No I'm strictly here to watch this guy's back. I know I still got it and I don't need to wrestle anymore to prove it.
Judge: Draven's gonna be my manager, come down to the ring with me and do that sort of thing.
EW: Well Judge it's good to have you back in the HWA. And good luck in your match tonight against Tiger Knight.
Judge: Who?
(Everyone has a little chuckle as Judge and his crew leave towards their dressing room to get ready for the night.)
TB: And now we have to go to the ring for Judge’ first match back in the HWA, Judge takes on Tiger Knight who has been in a serious bad streak lately.
“Out of My Way” by Seether hits and Tiger Knight comes running down to the ring. Tiger slides in under the bottom rope and pops up. Tiger Knight climbs the turnbuckle and poses to the fans who are giving him a pretty nice ovation.
TB: Tiger Knight only 5’8” and 210 lbs. is really going to have to use his speed if he wants to have any chance against Judge who stands 7’1” and weights just over 340 lbs.
KK: Tiger Knight definitely at a huge size disadvantage in this match.
Red, white and blue pyros start shooting everywhere as “November Rain” by Guns ‘N’ Roses hits and the fans really hit there feet in a thunderous ovation. Judge, followed by Draven Masters walk through the curtain and slowly make their way down to the ring. Judge climbs in over the top rope as Draven slides in under the bottom rope. Tiger Knight backs off into a corner in a show of sportsmanship letting Judge have his moment.
KK: This will Judge’s first match in over two years.
TB: He looks in incredible shape though.
Draven slides back out of the ring and Judge turns his attention towards his opponent. The bell rings and the match is underway. Knight and Judge start out circling each other trying to get a feel for the other one. Judge lunges in but Tiger easily side steps the big man to stay out of harm’s way. Judge regains his balance and lunges in again, this time Knight steps out of the way and follows with a dropkick to the knee. Judge buckles and Tiger throws another dropkick dropping Judge to one knee.
TB: Looks like Tiger Knight is going to try and ground the big man.
KK: On his knees they’re almost the same size.
TB: I think Judge might still be a little taller. LOL.
With Judge down on one knee Tiger runs off the ropes and drops a big dropkick right to Judge’s chin. Judge goes down on his back. Tiger off the ropes again throws a spinning leg drop across Judge’s midsection. The big man doubles over grabbing his stomach. Tiger Knight then tries to get a hold on his arm and apply a cross arm bar. Tiger locks the move in and new HWA Official Michael Smith gets in Judge’s face to see if he wants to give it up.
TB: Tiger Knight looking very strong to start this match has Judge in trouble now.
KK: This would be one of the biggest upsets in HWA history if he were to pull this off.
Judge writhes in pain trying to break the hold but Tiger Knight really has it locked in. Judge’s shoulders hit the mat and Smith counts 1…2… just barely gets a shoulder up. Judge now moving towards the ropes.
KK: Tiger Knight can’t keep Judge in the center of the ring,, he is giving up too much weight to really control the big man.
Judge gets to the ropes after being trapped in the hold for over a minute. Judge slowly getting back to his feet by the ropes as Tiger Knight comes running from across the ring with a big forearm arm smash rocking the big man. Judge doesn’t go back down as he is almost to his feet. Tiger Knight tries again and again Judge rocks but doesn’t fall. Now back on his feet Tiger Knight tries and third forearm but judge catches him by the throat and CHOKESLAM.
TB: Well Knight gave it a good effort but that chokeslam almost sent him through the ring mat.
Tiger Knight seems almost completely out of it as Judge lifts him back to his feet. Judge whips him into the ropes and Big Boot right across the face of Tiger Knight. Judge makes the cover 1…2… kick out by Tiger Knight at the last second.
KK: Tiger Knight still with a little life.
TB: The fans seem to be appreciating this action between two fan favorites to kick of Survival.
Judge can’t believe Tiger kicked out and looks a little furious. Judge lifts Tiger Knight up and sets him on the top turnbuckle. Judge climbs the turnbuckle after him looking to hit a superplex. Judge sets him up but Tiger Knight punches Judge in the midsection. Tiger Knight then throws an elbow to the head sending Judge off the turnbuckle but judge lands on his feet. Judge reaches up to grab Tiger Knight but Tiger grabs Judge’s arm first, then kicks Judge in the mouth. Tiger Knight gets to his feet on the turnbuckle still holding onto Judge’s arm.
TB: What is Tiger Knight going to try and do here?
Tiger Knight starts walking down the top rope and about halfway down jumps off and drop kicks Judge in the face with one of his patented moves the Balancing Act. Judge drops like a rock to his back as Tiger Knight goes for a cover 1…2. kick out by Judge.
KK: Well what is Tiger Knight going to do now, there is no way he can get Judge up for The Tigereye.
Tiger Knight pulls Judge up to his feet and signals he is going for the Tigereye. Judge standing prone in the middle of the ring, Tiger Knight runs off the ropes to try and get some added leverage, grabs Judge by the neck but Judge catches him and nails him with a sidewalk slam. Judge makes the cover 1…2..Tiger Knight barely kicks out.
TB: Tiger Knight almost had his finisher the Tigereye there but Judge was just too strong and caught him and dropped all his weight down on top of him.
Judge pulls Tiger up and signals for the Wrath of Judgment. Judge puts Tiger in a powerbomb position, lifts him up over his head, and grabs him by the throat slamming him down.
TB: Wrath of Judgment that’s it, Tiger Knight is done.
Judge makes the cover 1…2…3. Tiger Knight can’t even muster an attempt to kick out as Judge picks up the victory. Judge gets off the cover and asks for a microphone.
Judge: This is what the HWA is giving me now.
The fans kind of boo at that as Tiger Knight is a face.
Judge: I mean really when I wrestled here it was challenging, TCO, Danny Starr, Hollywood D, Zack Tyler, Scorpion, Michael Diamond, Sett, Ryan Maxem, and now this is the best you can do. I mean Syren is your champion that’s pathetic.
The fans really getting on Judge after the last remark about Syren as she is a huge fan favorite.
Judge: Oh boo me if you will, I don’t owe you guys anything anymore. I made the HWA and now you’re gonna boo me just because this place has gotten soft and pathetic.
KK: What is this, Judge was getting huge cheers as he came out here and now this. I can’t believe Judge is saying these things.
Judge: This is what I think of your favorites now.
Judge signals something to Draven who grabs a chair from ringside and throws it in. Judge signals again and Draven throws in another chair. Judge sets both chairs up side by side and goes for Tiger Knight. He picks Tiger up and signals for another Wrath of Judgment, this time onto the chairs.
TB: Judge don’t do it, he can’t take anymore.
Judge lifts Tiger Knight up and drops him again with the Wrath of Judgment right across both chairs. Just then “Sugar” by Trick Daddy hits and fans go nuts as Syren comes running down from the back. Judge quickly exits the ring as Syren slides in to check on Tiger Knight. Judge and Draven look up at her almost laughing as she has this look of hatred on her face. “November Rain” by G ‘N’ R hits and Judge and Draven make their way to the back to a huge ovation of boos.
TB: Judge as always been a big fan favorite what in the world could have brought about this change in attitude?
KK: I don’t know maybe we will get some answers next week.
Syren helps Tiger Knight out of the ring and to the back as a Syren chant breaks out through the crowd. They get Syren to the back and Syren passes Tiger Knight off to a few medical examiners because she has a match coming up with HWA newcomer Styxx.
TB: The champion in action next against Styxx but first we have some news that there is some serious commotion going on backstage.
The scene cuts backstage with a few wrestlers tearing up all sorts of stuff, tables and chairs are flying as a few other wrestlers run in and try to break it up. Now all the HWA officials are out and the action is being broken up.
TB: What was all that about, its like all hell has broken loose.
KK: World War 3 in the dressings room tonight and with Jackson not here there are no authority figures to try and calm this situation down.
The scene cuts to Jackson’s hospital bed as he is watching the event. He grabs his cell phone again and makes another call.
DJ: Look I can see what’s going on I’m working on it…..What do you want me to do about it from here?
Jackson frustrated he can’t do anything hangs up and quickly dials another number. He waits through a few rings before getting a voice mail.
DJ: Come on answer.
The scene goes back to the arena where Trent and Keith are trying to make sense of everything.
TB: Who is Jackson keep talking to?
KK: I don’t know but whoever it is might very well being running this federation very soon.
TB: Somebody needs to take control because this place is getting out of control. Let’s go back to the ring for Syren in action.
“Sugar” by Trick Daddy hits and the HWA Champion comes out from the back. She sprints down and ring with pink and purple pyro shooting off behind her. She slides into the ring and brandishes the HWA Title for everyone to see.
TB: Syren doesn’t seem bothered at all by her run in with Judge earlier in the show.
KK: I would bet she’s concentrating on Styxx. He is an unknown here in the HWA making his debut here tonight.
“Step Up” by Drowning Pool hits and here comes Styxx to the ring. Styxx runs down and slides in under the ropes, pops to his feet and charges at Syren who sidesteps him and drops him with a drop toe hold neck first across the bottom rope. Syren gets a running start and nails Styxx in the back of the head with a dropkick sending him flying out the ring between the bottom and middle ropes.
TB: Syren really off to a hot start here as I don’t think Styxx was expecting this.
Styxx tries to regain his bearings on the outside but Syren doesn’t really give him a chance as he looks up and see Syren flying at him with a suicide dive over the top rope. Syren connects and Styxx goes tumbling backwards slamming his head hard onto the steel guard rail Syren picks Styxx up and rolls him back into the ring and quickly follows him in. She gets him to his feet and blocks some weak attempts to punch back at her. She grabs him by his head and using the turnbuckle for leverage nails a springboard bulldog ramming his head into the mat. Styxx can’t even muster any fight as he lays prone in the ring.
KK: Syren making this look easy.
TB: She sure is having her way with the newcomer here.
Syren pulls Styxx back to his feet and he looks like he can barely stand as Syren spins around and nails him with the Lasso, her patented spinning heel kick right to the side of his face. Styxx falls back into the ropes and kind of stumbles back towards her still on his feet. She grabs him again and hits the Spur of the Moment, a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that leaves him laying flat on his back on the mat.
TB: Styxx is completely out of it. Syren has this thing sewn up.
Syren leaps up to the top rope and everybody in the arena knows what’s coming next. Syren gives a little smile and leaps off the top rope with the Breakdown moonsault, Syren makes the cover 1…2…3. Syren picks up the win.
KK: Easy victory for Syren, I don’t think Styxx got in one offensive move that whole match.
TB: I think you’re right Keith I don’t think Styxx had any offense.
Syren is standing in the ring holding her HWA World Title high when the lights go black, flashes are going off through the arena, and Syren is looking all around, then it goes pitch black.
KK: Not this again Trent, who would want to harm such a hot thing like Syren!
TB: Maybe the man that has a shot at her title.
KK: Danny Starr?
TB: We saw the crocket mallet at Last Man Standing and we know Danny is one of the best mind game players in this business.
Syren the lights go on and Syren is in the ring holding her title, ready to swing but standing behind her a person dressed in all black that we've seen before. He grabs her hair and throws her down to mat. This person picks her and kicks her right in the stomach and lifts her up into a vertical suplex but instead hits an inverted piledriver.
TB: Obliteration!! Keith that was just Danny Starr's finishing move, why does he keep coming out here in black, take off the damn mask.
KK: Someone needs to help out Syren out here, she's not moving... maybe I should give her mouth to mouth.
The man in black picks up the HWA World Title and raises it above his head, the lights go pitch black again and moments later they come back on and Syren is laying there with the belt over her face.
TB: Totally uncalled for, this just makes me sick.
KK: That has to be Danny Starr as he is not in action tonight after he hasn’t been heard from since Last Man Standing.
TB: Well I thought we were seeing a new Danny Starr but this looks like he is up to his old tricks.
KK: Well no time to waste we got to get right back to the action as next up Nate Hartman against Pocket Change with the number one contendership to the HWA International Title on the line.
TB: That title currently held by Kevin Conner and I know Pocket Change would love to get his hands on Conner. But if he looks past Hartman tonight he won’t ever get that chance.
KK: Hartman has been around for a while now and he knows how to wrestle.
“Point of No Return” by Immortal Technique hits and here comes “The Phenomenal One” Nate Hartman, blue and white pyro starts shooting out of the entryway and TPO walks through a wall of flames engulfing the entrance ramp. Hartman walks down to the ring and slides in raising his arm to the crowd.
“Back Then” by Mike Jones hits and a huge explosion shakes the whole arena. Pocket Change comes running down to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope, he climbs the top turnbuckle and does a back flip off of it landing on his feet and as he lands pyro shoots off over the top of the ring. As Pocket Change lands though he is ambushed by Hartman who completely clotheslines him out of his boots. Change’s head bounces off the mat as Hartman gets on top of him and starts landing lefts and rights to the head while Change tries to cover up and protect himself. Hartman pulls Pocket Change and whips him into the ropes, Change bounces off and Hartman kicks him in the gut doubling him over. Hartman grabs Change and give him a ferocious sit down powerbomb.
KK: Hartman really laying it on early after that sneak attack.
Hartman going for a cover 1…2…kick out by Pocket Change. Hartman pulls Pocket Change back to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. Change hits the turnbuckle and comes right back out nailing Hartman with a clothesline. Hartman goes down hard this time as Pocket change seems to have taken control. Change pulls Hartman up and hits a DDT.
TB: Hartman looks like he’s the one in trouble now.
KK: Pocket Change really in control now.
Pocket Change kicks Hartman who is trying to get back to his feet. Hartman falls back to the mat and Change falls down on him with an elbow to the ribs. Change then kicks Hartman a few times in the ribs.
TB: TPO really hurting right now as Change seems to have centered his attack on the ribs of Nate Hartman.
Pocket Change pulls Hartman to his feet and picks him up and drops him ribs first across his knee. Pocket Change holds him there and really wrenches down on his ribs using all his weight to drive his knee into the ribs of Hartman. Wallace Cunningham checks to see if Hartman wants to give it up. Hartman shakes him off and tries to fight the pain.
TB: You think Hartman’s gonna give it up here?
KK: If he stays in this hold much longer he might not have a choice, his ribs are really taking some punishment.
Pocket change really digs down and Hartman looks like he might be passing out from the pain. Cunningham checks him to see if he’s still conscience. Hartman doesn’t respond so Cunningham lifts his arm, it falls, he lifts it again, and again it falls, he lifts it a third and it falls halfway before Hartman comes to again and holds it up. He starts pumping his fist trying to break the hold. He reaches up and gouges Pocket Change in the eyes to break the hold. Pocket Change stumbles back holding his eyes as Hartman tries to go on the offensive. TPO runs at Pocket Change and nails a high knee right the kisser of Pocket Change. Hartman whips Pocket Change into the corner and follows him in with a big clothesline trapping him in the turnbuckle. Hartman sets Pocket Change on the second rope and starts to climb the turnbuckle himself. Hartman looks like he is going to try a top rope powerbomb on Pocket Change.
KK: If TPO hits this it’s gonna be over for Pocket Change.
TPO gets ready to pick Pocket Change up but his injured ribs won’t let him get Change up. He tries again and again he fails. Pocket Change flips Hartman over his head and TPO crashes down to the canvas Pocket change starts to climb the ropes himself.
TB: Wait a minute what is this?
A man in green shorts cut off just above the knee comes walking down to the ring, he stops at ringside and just kind of watches the action.
KK: Who is that guy?
TB: I don’t know Keith.
Pocket Change now perched on the top rope jumps off and hits one of his signature moves Here’s Your Change, a 360 leg drop, catching TPO right in the throat. Pocket Change pulls TPO back to his feet and whips him off the ropes, TPO bounces back and receives a kick to the midsection.
TB: This is it Pocket Change is going for the Full Hopper.
Pocket Change bounces off the ropes and leap frogs TPO coming back and nailing the Full Hopper right to the face of TPO. Pocket change makes the cover 1…2…3. Pocket Change jumps up and raises his arms as the man watching the match from ringside slides in and confronts Pocket Change. The two start talking and it almost seems kind of friendly.
TB: I can’t hear what they’re saying in there but it doesn’t look too confrontational to me.
The man extends his hand and Pocket Change actually goes to shake it but before he can the man clocks Pocket Change with some brass knuckles. Pocket Change goes down like a sack of bricks and the man jumps on top of him and starts whaling away on him. Just then “Not Listening” by Papa Roach hits the speakers and Kevin Conner comes running out of the back.
KK: Looks like things are going to go from bad to worse for Pocket change, here comes the International Champion.
Conner slides in the ring and pulls the man attacking Pocket change off of him. Conner grabs the man and hits him with a Conner Driver, sit-down Tombstone. The man rolls out of the ring and to the floor.
TB: Wait a minute Conner just saved Pocket Change from that guy who was beating on him. Conner hates Pocket Change so why would he do that.
KK: Maybe he’s decided to end this feud with Pocket Change and be friends?
TB: I doubt that very strongly.
Conner pulls Pocket Change to his feet and kind of tries to help him stand up. Just then Conner nails Pocket Change with a hard right hand, Pocket Change recovered kind of fires back with a left hand of his own. The two are going back and forth now.
TB: Get people out here to break these two up this is ridiculous!
KK: They're gonna kill each other, I LOVE IT!
About ten to fifteen security people hit the ring and try to break them up. They get them apart but Conner then breaks free and pounces on Change and other security. He starts to throw punches.
TB: There has to be more then ten people in that ring, trying to get these two apart and we still need more.
Finally they get the two apart for good and both men escorted out of the ring and to the back to be separated for the rest of the night.
TB: I understand Erin Wallace has that mystery man with her in the back.
The scene cuts to Erin Wallace who is standing by with the mystery man in the backstage area. The man is holding his head from the Conner Driver he received earlier.
EW: Sir, sir who are you.
Man: The name’s Shawn Clover.
EW: Why did you attack Pocket Change?
Clover: Let’s just say we have history, not all of it good. And he was going to get what he deserved if Conner hadn’t interfered. I might have to deal with him later but right now Pocket Change has something coming to him.
EW: So I guess that means this thing with Pocket Change isn’t over then?
Clover: It’s only the beginning.
The scene cuts back to Trent and Keith sitting at the announcer’s booth as the ring is being cleared up after the last brawl and everything that happened after the match.
TB: Well Survival is pretty much picking up right where Last Man Standing left off.
KK: Yeah its been one hell of a night so far with Jackson in the hospital and apparently finding someone to replace him as the head guy in HWA, we still don’t know who that’s gonna be. Judge victorious in his first match back. Syren getting attacked by a masked man, looking a lot like Danny Starr, and now Shawn Clover, then Kevin Conner, attacking Pocket Change immediately after he became the number one contender to Conner’s International Title.
TB: And we still have two title matches to go tonight.
KK: Well then let’s get back to the ring as new HWA X-Treme Champion Kevin Hurts takes on challenger The eXiled.
"Like Light to Flies" by Trivium plays as the lights darken, but not completely. the eXiled makes his way to the ring silently, with the entire audience feeling a bit of the blindness that he lives with. Once he gets in the ring, the lights return to normal. X kind of slinks into a corner as the lights in arena dim again as “Immortal” by Adema plays and blue strobe lights kick on. Hurts comes out in a white tank top and black pants and walks down the ramp and slides into the ring. He poses for a moment before stretching as the lights return to normal. X runs at Hurts from behind nailing him with an elbow to the back of the head and the bell rings to start this X-Treme Title Match, Hurts gets back to his feet and X kicks him in the gut Tajiri style. Hurts doubles over and X drops an elbow down on the beck of his neck flooring Hurts again. X slides outside the ring and reaches underneath it to grab a chair and a table sliding both back into the ring.
TB: Well the X-Treme Title is always defended hardcore style and X already going for the plunder.
By the time X gets back in the ring though Hurts has already commandeered the chair and nails X right in the head with it. X stumbles back and would have fallen but the ropes hold him up. Hurts hits X in the midsection with the end of the chair and then across the back with the chair this time sending him to the mat. Hurts goes to sent up the table quickly before X can regain his composure. With the table set up Hurts pulls X to his feet and lays him on the table. Hurts goes to climb the top rope. Hurts on top jumps off and goes for his Death From Above but nobody’s home as X just at the last second gets out of the way. Hurts goes crashing through the table and looks almost dead.
KK: Hurts just went crashing through the table to the mat. If X can capitalize off of this then Hurts title reign isn’t even going to make it through his first defense.
X trying to get to his feet as Hurts is completely out of it laying in what’s left of the table. X gets to his feet and slides outside the ring. He reaches underneath the ring and get another table. He slides it into the ring as Hurts has yet to move.
KK: All he has to do is cover him and he wins it because there is no way Hurts can kick out right now. So I don’t understand why he doesn’t just pin him.
TB: Maybe he just wants to inflect a little more pain because he knows Hurts is out and can’t defend himself.
X sets up the table and pulls Hurts to his feet. X slides Hurts into the table and follows him up. X pulls hurts to his feet when out of nowhere Hurts kicks X in the midsection doubling him over. Hurts gets X in a powerbomb position at one end of the table.
TB: No way he is about to try and do this on the table.
Hurts flips over and drives X’s head through the table with the Freak Out. Both men are completely out of it now.
KK: OH MY GOD eXiled is dead, he has to be dead after that.
TB: They’re both dead.
Hurts get enough strength to throw an arm over X and Michael Smith counts 1…2…3. Kevin Hurts successfully defends his title. Smith drapes the title over Hurts stomach as neither man can really move.
TB: Wow what a display by Kevin Hurts. I don’t care what anybody says about how he won the title at Last Man Standing, he showed tonight he deserves it.
EMTs and HWA officials all come running down to the ring to check on both men. As they are clearing the ring out with tables and chairs and bodies all over the place the scene cuts backstage where we see Erin Wallace standing next to a stretching Conner who whipping his mouth with a towel. The towel has blood on it from the scuffle him and Pocket Change got into, Erin has her hand on Conner's chest.
EW: All you have to do is beat The Real Hero, and you get Pocket Change all to yourself!
Conner: I know, but you want to know something Erin. This my 13th week holding on to this title, and the Pocket Change thing isn't about titles.
EW: But if you don’t have the title, you don't have the match with Pocket Change.
Conner: Which means there's no match, and which means I don’t have to play by the rules anymore. I can get Pocket change whenever and wherever I want without worrying about titles and rules.
EW: You can’t seriously be thinking of letting The Real Hero have the title, I mean it’s a fluke he's getting the rematch anyway.
Conner: That may be, but there are bigger things then titles in this business. Personal feud and well being is one of them. If I drop my title then get my hands on Pocket Change one more time, he'll be sharing a hospital room with his brother Bigg Money! So the next time they talk to each other, it's when they're both burning in hell!"
EW: Just think about this Kevin, look at your face, and think what you went through, you spend Thanksgiving at a police station because of Kristin Thomas, and that fan from Last Man Standing. That anger you showed, put it in that ring against that former best friend of yours The Real Hero. He would be nothing without you, The HardknockerZ would have been nothing without you.
Conner: You know what Erin you're right, Thanksgiving sucked! And I made The HardknockerZ, but The Real Hero deserves a big win, if I give it to him I’m still not sure of. But my match is next, stay back here just in case."
(Conner picks up his title and walks out of his locker room on a disappointed Erin Wallace.)
TB: Is Conner seriously thinking about dropping the title to The Real Hero, just to get his hands on Pocket Change?
KK: Personal feuds and well beings are bigger than titles!
TB: Stay tuned fans we're in for something huge
“Not Listening” by Papa Roach hits and Kevin Conner sporting the HWA International Title comes running down the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope and hits all four turnbuckles holding the title in the air as flashbulbs go off all over the arena. The fans are cheering and taking pictures when the lights dim and “Kryptonite” by 3 Doors Down hits the PA System. The Real Hero walks out to an array of spotlights, waving to the crowd and proceeds down the ramp. He slaps hands with some of the front-row audience on the way to the ring. As he reaches the middle of the ring, he raises both his hands, acknowledging the audience who are giving him an decent ovation. The music cuts and Hero turns to face Conner.
TB: You know I’m noticing something tonight.
KK: What’s that Trent?
TB: Almost every match we had tonight involves two guys the fans are cheering for. Do the fan boo anyone anymore?
KK: Well Judge and Pocket Change and I think that’s been about it tonight.
TB: Ok just making sure it wasn’t just me.
KK: It’s not just you.
TB: Ok.
Conner hands his title over to Wallace Cunningham and walks towards the center of the ring to meet Real Hero. The two go chest to chest and Hero throws the first punch, it connects and Conner just retaliates with a punch of his own. Hero again lands a vicious punch and Conner just comes back with one of his own. Hero goes to throw another right hand but this time Conner blocks it and gets the upper hand with a left of his own. Conner lands another one this time rocking Hero. Conner whips Hero into the ropes and charges hitting him a shoulder block. Hero stumbles but doesn’t fall. Conner whips Hero into the ropes again and this time hits a clothesline dropping Hero down to a knee. Conner off the ropes this time and dropkicks Hero in the face finally sending him back first to the mat.
TB: Conner looking good so far. I guess he decided against just giving the match to Real Hero in order to get at Pocket Change.
KK: I guess so.
Conner pulls Hero back to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. Conner follows him in with a clothesline crushing Hero in the turnbuckle. Conner then climbs to the second turnbuckle and hits starts nailing Hero as the fans count along 1…2…3…4…5…6…7.. Hero grabs Conner’s legs and drops him down with an atomic drop breaking the count of Conner’s punches. Conner holding himself in pain as Hero comes charging out of the corner clotheslining Conner down to the mat. Hero pulls Conner up and locks him in a belly to belly suplex and stays on for a cover 1…2. kick out by Conner.
TB: Conner not gonna be done in that easy.
Hero picks Conner off the mat and lifts him over his head for a powerslam. Conner goes crashing to the mat again as Hero bounces off the ropes and lands a big Hogan style leg drop and another cover 1..2.. kick out by Conner again. Hero looks a little frustrated but keep his composure and pulls Conner back to his feet. He whips Conner into the ropes and Conner bounces back only to be kicked in the midsection and doubled over by Hero. Hero then sets Conner up and lands a powerbomb for another cover 1…2.. kick out by Conner.
KK: Conner showing some heart here as he continues to fight and kick out.
Hero pulls Conner back to his feet and Conner throws a punch out of nowhere catching Hero in the jaw. Hero rocks but comes back and slams Conner back to the mat by his hair. Cunningham warns Hero about pulling the hair but Hero just shakes him off. Hero again picks Conner up and this time whips him hard into the corner. Hero then slides outside the ring and grabs Conner by the legs causing him to slam his face hard into the mat. Hero pulls Conner’s legs and causes him to hit his groin hard into the steel ring rail. Hero completely ignores Cunningham again and slams Conner’s area hard into the ring post.
KK: Erin can’t be liking this much
TB: Frankly I didn’t want to think about that so thanks for bringing it up.
KK: Jealous?
TB: Maybe.
Hero pulls Conner outside the ring and whips him into the steel guard rail. Conner hits the rail hard as some fans try and pat him on the back just to say they touched an HWA superstar. Hero charges in and tries to clothesline Conner but Conner moves and Hero just catches steel in his gut as he moves the rail almost a foot into the crowd knocking some front row fans to the ground.
TB: Watch out these guys are literally taking it to the fans.
KK: Corny.
TB: I know.
Conner rolls in the ring to break the count and then rolls back out to get Hero. Conner grabs Hero by the neck and slams his head into the ring steps. Conner doesn’t let go and slams his head into the steps again. Conner then slides Hero back into the ring to break Cunningham’s ten count at eight. Conner slides in the ring right behind Real Hero and kicks Hero in the stomach rolling him over on his back. Conner goes to climb the ropes but as he does Hero starts getting to his feet. Conner gets to the top and turns around only to get nailed in the chest by Hero who is back to his feet. Conner teeters but keeps his balance on the top rope and Hero starts to climb up after him.
KK: this might end ugly if they both get up there.
Hero get to the top and both and Conner and hanging on the top rope trying to get the other one off. Conner gets the upper hand and pushes Hero off onto his back on the mat. Hero lands perfectly and Conner jumps off with the Leap of Faith connecting with Hero.
TB: Leap of Faith that could be it for Hero.
Conner makes the cover 1…2.. kick out by Hero at the last possible second. Conner pulls hero to his feet and signals for the Celtic Call. He gets Hero up but Hero is able to fight out of it and lands on his feet. He grabs Conner around the throat and delivers and huge chokeslam completely wiping out the champion. Hero pulls Conner up and whips him into the ropes, Conner comes back and Hero goes for the Reality Hits but Conner ducks and bounces off the opposite side ropes spearing Hero to the mat. Conner gets Hero up again and signals for the Celtic Call again.
KK: Wait a second look at this.
Pocket Change comes from out the back with a steel chair in his hand and slides into the ring. Conner drops Hero and goes for Pocket Change who ducks out of the way of Conner’s attack. Hero back in the fold grabs Conner by the throat again as he turns around. Change then tries to hit Hero with the chair but Hero sees it and moves causing Pocket Change to nail Conner with the chair. Hero then gives Pocket Change a Reality hits to the face and Change falls and rolls out of the ring. Hero lifts Conner up and hits a Heroic Ending. Hero makes the cover 1…2…3. Cunningham raises Hero’s arms as he is handed the HWA International Title.
TB: Real Hero wins the rematch and wins the HWA International Title thanks to Pocket Change.
KK: But was it just me or was Pocket Change trying to hit Real Hero and just missed.
TB: It looked that way to me.
Pocket Change rolls back in the ring as Hero leaves celebrating his new International Title. Change grabs a microphone as Conner is just starting to come to.
Pocket Change: You idiot. I come down here and try to hit Real Hero so we can finally have our title match and you screw it up. You idiot.
TB: So he really was trying to hit Real Hero.
Pocket Change: But now we’re even you cost me my title and I cost you yours.
Conner back to his feet charges Pocket change and the two start trading blows again. Security tries to rush down to the ring to separate them again when suddenly “Mistakes” by Godsmack hits the speakers. Just then Morgoth walks out onto the entrance ramp with a microphone as all action in the ring stops.
Morgoth: What?
TB: Oh man Morgoth is back, Morgoth is back in the HWA.
Morgoth: See I was just sitting at home when I got this phone call from an old friend of mine. You might know him, his name is David Jackson. See apparently David is stuck in some hospital and needs some help keeping law and order around here. That’s right, from here on out you all belong to me, because I’m back in charge bitches.
KK: Thank God we finally some authority back in HWA.
TB: Yeah but every time Morgoth has taken over HWA he has driven it into closing its doors. If that trend keeps true we could be seeing the beginning of the end in the HWA.
The show goes off the air with Conner and Pocket change in the ring not even fighting just staring up at Morgoth apparently in charge now standing up on the entrance ramp.
