The scene pans around the HSBC arena in Buffalo NY. The arena is only about ¾ full but it’s to be expected because the economy in Buffalo is especially bad and no one wants to do anything much in the winter since it’s so cold, about 8 degrees. The scene goes to ringside where Trent Brown and Keith Kincaid are the announcers.
TB: Not quite the same crowd as Mexico last month but then again that’s probably for the best!
KK: Let’s not speak of Mexico again Trent. Let’s concentrate on the present, and we have some great matches tonight for HWA Pride! This should be a night to remember and I can back that up because we’re going to start with what should be one of the greatest matches in the HWA in a while! A battle royal for the number one contender ship!
TB: This is how careers are made. Now I’ve just been given word that Scott Sanders and Nomad aren’t here tonight so they won’t be able to participate!
KK: Who the hell is Nomad anyway?
TB: Well he’s not in the HWA but he was scheduled to be in this battle royal for some reason, but he didn’t show up so who knows?
Suddenly You Know You're Right by Nirvana hits and the Heretic starts to walk out amidst loud boos from the crowd. He gets in the ring and waits.
KK: I can’t wait to see this great athlete in the ring again. He’s my pick to win this!
TB: I agree that he’s a great talent but I doubt if he’ll win here, this is the cream of the HWA crop really!
Music hits and Anubis himself starts to walk out. He gets in the ring and poses on the turnbuckle, not showing Heretic any respect.
KK: I could see Anubis taking this. He’s been on a tear lately.
Circles" by Incubus hits and out walks Maxem. The crowd cheers at first but then starts to boo.
TB: I still can’t believe what he’s been doing. Pissing on Sett’s girlfriend’s grave. Heinous.
KK: Hey Sett attacked Maxem in the hall last week. That’s what happens when you mess with Maxem.
TB: We don’t know who attacked Maxem and I seriously doubt if it was Sett.
Maxem gets in the ring and leans against the ropes waiting. He, Anubis and the Heretic all eye each other. The Heretic walks over to Maxem, limping because of the knife fight they had a few weeks ago, and gets in his face. They start jawing at each other and then start pushing. Wallace Cunningham the ref gets between them threatening to disqualify them both and the Heretic backs off nodding his head at Maxem and telling him to wait.
TB: Some bad blood between those two.
Young Grow Old hits and out walks Anderson to loud boos. Before he even gets to the ring, King Of My World" by Saliva hits and out comes Conner. Anderson turns back and scowls at him as the fans boo both of them.
TB: I doubt if these two will work together at all tonight, in the battle royal or in the tag match! The Legacy Department in a joke!
KK: Watch your tongue. They may not get along but then neither does the Militia.
TB: True.
Remember Me" by Hoobastank hits and out comes Jason Mysterio. The crowd boos him mercilessly as he holds his Title of the damned aloft. He hops into the ring and waits.
KK: I think he might win!
TB: You think they’ll all win!
The fans are booing because everyone in the ring is a heel and they don’t want any heels to win. Suddenly someone they like’s music hits: Mistakes" by Godsmack. The fans get to their feet as Morgoth walks down the ramp with his titles over each shoulder.
TB: There’s my pick for the winner!
KK: Well I guess that’s it . . .
Suddenly All Along the Watchtower hits and the fans boo as David Jackson is seen at the top of the ramp. He struts down and gets in the ring and pulls out a mic.
Jackson: Welcome everyone to HWA Pride! Well I did what that miserable excuse for life Grimjack couldn’t do! I split up the Militia! I also split up the Legacy Department at the same time, although they did that for me! Now there’s only one dominant power left in the HWA . . . me!
The crowd is chanting “ASSHOLE”. The seven wrestlers in the ring just try to wait because they want to kill each other. The fans start a “MORGOTH” chant.
Jackson: Now I’m sure you all remember there is a mystery entrant in this battle royal. Well I’m here to announce who that is. The mystery entrant is . . .
Suddenly “One Armed Scissor” by At the Drive In blares and the fans start going nuts cheering as Grimjack is seen at the top of the ramp. He’s wearing baggy jeans with sandals and socks. He has a mic and talks as he walks down the ramp.
Grimjack: Me! That’s right! The mystery entrant is me!
The fans are going nuts at this but Jackson looks pissed.
Jackson: You have got to be kidding me. You have no right to be joining this battle royal! In fact if my memory serves me I fired you last week! So get the hell out of my building!
Grimjack: You can’t fire me because I’m on equal footing with you! We’re both co-presidents of the HWA. Neil gave you your title because I was missing. If you want me fired you have to go through Neil . . . wait he’s missing! You know it’s pretty odd that people always go missing when it’s convenient for you! I want to know who the hell you are Jackson! And I think everyone here in my hometown of BUFFALO NEW YORK wants to know too!
Crowd goes nuts.
Grimjack: But I think I know something that they want even more! They want to see me kick YOUR ass! Why don’t you join this battle royal Jackson!
The crowd gets electric at the thought of this. Jackson takes his time.
Jackson: You think you’re so smart . . . but you’re nothing but a waste of human life. Get your little ass down here and I’ll show you the proper way to lead by example.
David Jackson takes his black t-shirt off revealing huge pecs. Grimjack is now at ringside and he hops on the apron.
Grimjack: Alright let’s do this Jackson. But I almost forgot to mention. There’s one more mystery entrant tonight. But let me explain. Me and Conner rescued a friend of ours last night. We have video. Watch this.
The HWAtron comes on and we see ourselves at a small farm somewhere in Upstate New York. It’s freezing out and snowing. Two men dressed in parkas are sneaking around the farm. The camera shows a closeup of them and we see it’s Grimjack and Conner. They come to the door and kick it down. We see Chris Million sleeping on a couch and Grimjack and Conner jump him and start beating the hell out of him. Then the HWAtron switches off. Conner walks over to Grim and gets the mic.
Conner: Sorry that we had to do that to your friend Jackson. But it was necessary!
Grimjack: That’s right! Because Million kidnapped our friend! The last man in this battle royal . . . Unknown Ninja!
The crowd is going nuts as Unknown Ninja comes running down the ramp and he slides into the ring and starts going after Jackson. The bell rings and the battle royal starts out. Everything is chaos as everyone is going after everyone else. Maxem and Mysterio square off and battle in the corner. Morgoth gets double teamed by Anubis and the Heretic. Meanwhile Grimjack, Unknown Ninja, Anderson and Conner are stomping on David Jackson who is down. Suddenly though, Mysterio, Anubis and Heretic run over and start taking them down. Jackson crawls into the corner and watches. Maxem comes back over and grabs Mysterio and irish whips him across the ropes, he’s planning on hip tossing him but as Mysterio comes back he catches Maxem with a flying body splash. Grimjack is up and looking for Jackson when Anubis hits him from behind with a drop kick. Anderson comes over and starts pounding on him. Anderson gives Anubis a chokeslam. Jason Mysterio runs up behind Anderson and gives him a viscious bulldog taking the man down. Conner runs over but Mysterio hits him with a spear.
KK: Mysterio is on fire! He can’t be stopped!
TB: This is what I love about the HWA! No one expected David Jackson or Grimjack to be in this, and yet Jason Mysterio is having the real impact!
Grimjack sees Jackson in the corner and rushes him. They start exchanging monster blows as all of the hatred of the last month builds up. They go up against the ropes and Jackson blocks a Grimjack punch and catches him with a hard right that sends Grimjack over the ropes and out of the ring!
TB: Grimjack’s out! He’s the first person eliminated and it was by David Jackson!
Suddenly Unknown Ninja runs over and hits Jackson with a huge flying sidekick that sends them both flying out of the ring and they both land on Grimjack who was still lying there.
KK: Whoa! Just like that two more are eliminated! Jackson and Ninja are gone! It didn’t take long for these mystery entrants to be eliminated!
Unknown Ninja is stomping on Jackson and actually showing emotion and the crowd is behind him when security comes running out and they pull Ninja off of him and drag Ninja away. Jackson laughes and starts to stomp of Grimjack who is down. Anderson steps away from the rumble in the ring and looks down at them and he yells at Jackson to get off of Grimjack. Jason Mysterio runs over and pushes Anderson out of the ring and he lands on his head. “Watchtower” hits as Jackson walks back up the ramp getting booed loudly.
TB: That guy is so smug. I hate him.
KK: How can you hate him! He’s a great wrestler too!
Remaining in the ring is Conner, Anubis, Morgoth, Heretic, Mysterio and Maxem. Maxem and Morgoth are going at it in the corner while Heretic and Mysterio double team Conner in the other corner. They grab Conner and execute a double suplex.
TB: I think Heretic and Mysterio might have an alliance going here.
Anubis rushes over to Morgoth and starts going after his opponent for tonight. Maxem falls to the ground exhausted as Morgoth and Anubis start hitting each other. Anubis goes to irish whip Morgoth but Morgoth reverses it and whips him into Maxem, Maxem catches Anubis and throws him out of the ring himself.
TB: Anubis is gone! Maxem threw him out with the help of Morgoth but I don’t think they meant it!
On the other side of the ring Heretic and Mysterio have Conner positioned on top of the turnbuckle and almost have him out. They finally push him over with all their might and Conner tumbles out of the ring and lands on his back.
KK: Kevin Conner is gone!
Mysterio starts going after Morgoth and Heretic goes after Maxem. Maxem takes Heretic and gives him the Technical Difficulties.
TB: Technical Difficulties on Heretic!
Maxem stumbles over but is met by a clothesline from Mysterio. But as soon as he does that Morgoth hits Mysterio with a shoulderblock. Maxem is back up and he grabs Morgoth with intentions of the Technical Difficulties but Morgoth pushes him off and grabs Maxem by the throat with intentions for the Goth. But Mysterio is back up and he breaks it up.
TB: Geez that was close!
The Heretic is slowly getting to his feet and he uses the ropes to pull him up. Suddenly Mysterio rushes him and hits him with a huge drop kick that sends him sailing over the ropes and he is eliminated. Meanwhile Maxem has Morgoth in a headlock and gets him down to one knee. Mysterio comes over and takes advantage by kicking Morgoth repeatedly in the ribs.
TB: What is this! Do Mysterio and Maxem have an alliance?
KK: I think it’s obvious that this has been every man for himself but Maxem and Mysterio realize that Maxem’s a threat o either of them winning!
Morgoth is weakening from the pounding he’s taking. The fans are chanting his name but Mysterio and Maxem drag him to the ropes to try and toss him out. They throw him over but he holds onto the ropes and slides back in. Maxem and Mysterio are surprised but Maxem recovers and pushes Mysterio over while he’s not looking. Mysterio holds on to the bottom ropes but Maxem kicks him in the fingers and Mysterio falls lightly to the ground.
KK: There goes Mysterio! Damn it’s down to Maxem! Don’t let Morgoth win Ryan!
The crowd is going nuts as there are only two men left in the battle royal, Maxem and Morgoth. Morgoth gets up but Maxem is on him and pushes him into the corner. Morgoth reverses it and rams Maxem’s head into the turnbuckle. He irish whips Maxem and as Maxem comes back off the ropes executes a massive power slam. But both men are hurt and stay down tired.
TB: That took a lot out of both men. I’m surprised either of them can stand after this hellish match, and it’s still not over!
They both start getting up at the same time as the crowd is getting louder too. They start exchanging weary punches. Maxem gets the upperhand and grabs Morgoth setting him up for the Technical Difficulties. Maxem gets him up in the air but is too tired and drops Morgoth back down. Morgoth lands on his feet but stumbles back to his knees. He gets back up and falls against the ropes and pulls himself up. Maxem sees him leaning against the ropes a perfect opportunity to clothesline him over and rushes him. Morgoth ducks down and pulls the ropes down at the same time and Maxem misses him and goes sailing out of the ring and lands on his head and Morgoth has won! Morgoth slowly stands up and smiles as cheers rain down on him.
KK: I can’t believe this crap. Morgoth got so lucky, Maxem had this won!
TB: One slip up decides a lot! Morgoth gets a world title shot in two weeks against whomever holds the title then! And by that I mean it could change hands from Diamond to Fudge tonight!
Morgoth gets handed a mic as the cheers die down.
Morgoth: Michael, this one was for you bud. You saved my life, now it's time I return the favor with a one on one match with you in two weeks. This is only a taste of what's happening tonight, Pride will truly show through Morgoth.
Morgoth drops the microphone and leaves as Mistakes by Godsmack plays.
Commercial break.
The lights go out around the arena, and “Bodies” by Drowning Pool hits the sound system. Brian walks out to the ring, looking as confident as ever. He slides in under the bottom rope and stands up in the ring, awaiting his next opponent. Next, out comes SyXx, returning to the HWA after a six month absence. Then, HWA newcomer Reinfield sprints down the ramp, and immediately SyXx starts exchanging blows with him because of last week’s defeat. "Remember Me" by Hoobastank blasts over the speakers and the fans boo Jason Mysterio. He walks down the ramp, taking his precious time, allowing the three other wrestlers in the ring to wear themselves out. He finally gets to the ring and slides in. He’s watching SyXx and Reinfield and doesn’t notice Brian getting on top of the turnbuckle. Brian launches off and nails the unsuspecting Jason Mysterio over the top rope. Brian then runs and jumps over the top rope onto Mysterio. He starts to kick at Mysterio, but Mysterio grabs his leg and throws him into the security railing. Mysterio then gets up (with a little trouble) and punches Brian a couple of times. He grabs Brian by the head and runs him into the ring post. He then picks up Brian and rolls him into the ring. Mysterio slides into the ring to be immediately caught in the face with a foot by SyXx. Mysterio immediately stands up, and grabs SyXx by the throat, jumps up, and dropkicks him. SyXx falls back into the turnbuckle, and Reinfield takes the opportunity to grab him and lift him onto the top turnbuckle. As he is about to super-suplex him off of the top rope, Mysterio whips Brian into the ropes, causing both wrestlers to fly off and onto the security railing. Mysterio turns around to Brian running at him. Mysterio lifts up his leg, and kicks Brian in the rope flipping him over. Mysterio then taunts Brian to get up. He gets ready to Superkick Brian, but turns around and Superkicks SyXx who is getting on the apron to the ring. SyXx falls back and nails Reinfield causing both wrestlers to once again stay outside the ring. Brian gets up and turns around, Mysterio nails the Hybrid Theory on Brian and stays down for the pin 1…2…3.
TB: He did it once again! Mysterio still holds the title of the damned! When will he ever lose it?
After the Title of the Damned match a huge explosion goes off on the ramp except for Jason’s music hitting Face Down by 50 Cent hits and out comes this huge powerhouse of a man walking down the ramp Jason eyes get wide open as Brian, Renfeild, and Syxx are all on the ground. The fan gets in the ring and looks at Jason then the others around the ring Brian gets up and jumps on the big mans back and puts a sleeper on he twists Brian around and then nails a belly to belly suplex throw across the ring and gets right up and runs at Jason with a hard close line. He picks up Syxx and Military press slams him and then drops him, Renfield gets up and then gets taken down with a spear. This man picks up Brian and hits a power bomb over the top rope to the outside. Jason runs at him but gets a huge spin buster. He picks up Syxx drags him to the corner and sits on the top rope while his feet are on the middle. He grabs him by his throat lifts him off the mat and delivers a chock slam which breaks the ring.)
KK: “Holy shit, who is this man Trent!”
TB: “I don’t know but he destroying everyone”
(This man picks up Renfield and puts him on the turnbuckle. He goes on the middle rope and puts him on his shoulders. He turns around and hits a leaping F5. The man gets right up and looks down at Jason and pulls him up in his hair and hits a huge double under hook power bomb. He gets up and gets a microphone.)
man: “The HWA has felt the power, the pain, the explosion of C4.”
(he walks up the ramp.)
TB: What the hell???
KK: I’m impressed!!!
Commercial break.
TB: Well Morgoth got through the grueling battle royal and won it but the question remains, does he have enough left to beat Anubis and retain his X-treme title?
KK: A more important question is does he even care about this match anymore? I mean the world title is more important than the X-treme title!
TB: Morgoth has been on an amazing roll lately. He already has the X-treme title and the tag team titles. Pretty soon he’ll have all the belts in the HWA!
The music of Anubis hits and out walks the challenger.
KK: Not if this man has anything to say about it! The great Bass Styles is here in full effect!
The lights go down and a video shows on the HWAtron. We see Morgoth capturing the X-treme titles and tag team titles with Sett. Then we see him supposedly attacking Cassandra Starr in her hospital bed but then shows him denying it. Then Mistakes by Godsmack hits and the man himself walks out to huge cheers with his belts.
TB: I think we may be looking at our world champion in two weeks time!
He gets in the ring. He goes to shake Anubis hand and they shake. You can tell they have history as they look each other in the eye, acknowledging something that only they know. The bell rings and the match starts. They lock up and Anubis gets the upper hand and gets Morgoth in a headlock. Morgoth punches him in the ribs stunning Anubis and Morgoth capitalizes with a german suplex. Anubis gets back up but is met with a side kick to the head. Anubis gets up doozy and charges Morgoth. Morgoth runs in the opposite direction and heads toward a turnbuckle, he jumps off the second rope and hits Anubis with a knee to the face that sends the big man down.
TB: Whoa! Great move by Morgoth that connected perfectly! He’s in his zone tonight!
Morgoth covers but Anubis kicks out. Morgoth goes outside the ring and grabs a chair and goes back in. He sets the chair up in the middle of the ring. Anubis gets up and Morgoth irish whips him at the ropes. As Anubis comes back Morgoth gives him a tilt-a-whirl back breaker right through the steel chair, which breaks.
KK: Through the chair!
TB: That chair just shattered from the impact! Anubis is broken in half!!!
KK: Even I’ll admit I’ve never seen anything like that!!!
Morgoth makes the cover . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!
TB: He did it! Morgoth won his second huge match of the night! What a roll!
KK: Big deal. Anubis sucks.
Commercial break.
Ryan Maxem is seen walking down the hall in the arena. As the fans see his face on the screen the audience is on there feet applauding there last World Champion. Ryan Maxem seems as if he is going to meet up with somebody until TPO walks out from behind a door. Ryan bumps into him on accident, and the two share words.
TPO: Ahh Maxem. The man I have been wanting to talk to since I returned. You know Max, I have been watching you, and it wasn’t your big mouth that impressed me. It was what you did with the X-treme Title. You kept it for some time before practically giving it to the only man who doesn’t deserve it. Anyways, I looked at you like a worthy and trusted opponent, but now you don’t have the title. You’re not X-treme enough to have the belt.
Maxem: Stop right there T..P…O. You think you’re big and bad, but look who towers over you. Look who has the strength over you, look who has the better looks.
TPO: Are you man enough to fight me in an Xtreme match?
Maxem: You know Xtreme just isn’t the way I fly anymore. Say anything you want about me, but that belt is useless to me. You are useless to me unless…
Ryan pauses for a moment.
Maxem: Ahh never mind.
Maxem shakes his head and continues walking down the hall, this time at a faster pace. Ryan hurries to wherever he is going but not before running into our very own International Champion. The fans cheer loudly once again as yet another fan favorite is seen.
Maxem: Well if I don’t have the best of luck.
Sett: Maxem get out of my face before I make you look like a black rapper on BET with gold in his mouth when I shove this belt so far down your…
Maxem: Yeah I get it. Am I supposed to be scared?
Suddenly running from behind TPO comes back.
TPO: We aren’t finished just yet Maxem.
Sett: Scared yet?
Maxem: I don’t know are you?
Sett: …
A confused look appears on Sett’s face when Ryan Maxem, and TPO both suddenly begin their royal beating on the International Champion. Ryan grabs Sett’s belt as he is on the ground and shoves it in his face.
Maxem: Kiss it good-bye Sett. You didn’t earn this belt for shit. You had me jumped last week so you could get an easy win, and even though Fudge and I really aren’t on the same page right now, you disrespected me one too many times.
As Ryan is talking to a battered Sett, TPO continues to beat on him.
Maxem: That’s enough TPO.
TPO: Awww. Why so soon?
Maxem: I want him to have a chance in our match, well I want him to think that anyways. I want to show him what happens when you disrespect me.
TPO smiles, and the two men walk off laughing. The scene fades to black.
KK: I’m starting to like Maxem more and more! Repaying Sett for the heinous attack last week!
TB: I doubt if it was Sett and besides it’s cowardly of Maxem to trick Sett like that and get TPO’s help, especially right before they’re match!
The room goes black. “South Texas Deathride” by Union Underground blasts over the speaker system. Sett steps out from behind the ramp. He raises one hand as the fans go crazy. He looks confident as he steps down the ramp.
KK – I don’t know why he’s looking so confident. He won’t look that confident in a DRESS!
TB – You don’t know the outcome of this match Keith…
KK – of course I do.
TB – What ever.
He walks over to the ring, now domed with steel bars. The ref unlocks the steel door, and Sett steps inside. Next, "Circles" by Incubus plays overhead as tied HWA Superstar of the Year Ryan Maxem walks down the ramp. He also looks determined to win this match. Sett’s eyes glaze over as he sees his old friend and remembers the sneak attack put on him for tying wrestler of the year. Maxem steps into the dome cage, and the match begins. Sett and Maxem lock arms, and Sett overpowering Maxem, tosses him into the steel bars of the domed cage. Maxem falls on his face, but quickly gets up. Sett and Maxem lock up again, and this time Maxem kicks him in the gut, and grabbing the back of his head, he shoves Sett into the steel cage. Sett falls backwards, but does not fall down. Maxem runs at Sett with a clothesline in mind, but Sett raises one foot in the air, catching Maxem in the chin. Then, with a quick uppercut by Sett, Maxem falls to the mat. Sett grabs Maxem by the hair, and pulls him up. Maxem breaks the hold put on him by Sett and punches him in the chin. Sett’s head falls back, but he quickly regains composure, and enraged grabs Maxem by the throat. He picks him up in his trademark move, STD. He holds Maxem up for too long though, and Maxem luckily gets a cheap kick to the groin on Sett. Sett drops Maxem, and Maxem grabs Sett’s head, and slams it into the metal bars. He does it again, and again until fresh blood starts to seep from Sett’s forehead. Maxem finally lets go of Sett and Sett falls to the mat. Maxem leans over Sett, mocking him something about being the true wrestler of the year. Sett’s arm raises up, and grabs Maxem by the throat. Sett stands up, and using both hands, elevates Maxem hitting his back on the steel dome. Sett chokeslams Maxem down and holds for the pin. 1…2…kickout by Maxem. Sett stands up, and kicks at Maxem. Maxem rolls over, and slowly gets up. Sett waits for him, ready for another chokeslam. Maxem gets up, and turns around. Sett moves in for the kill, but Maxem ducks and kicks Sett in the stomach. Sett bends over, allowing Maxem to powerbomb Sett. Maxem picks Sett up by the hair and whips him into the turnbuckle. He quickly runs over and starts hitting his Fists of Fury on Sett. Maxem then grabs set, taunts a little more, and quickly nails the Technical Difficulties. Maxem goes for the pin. One….Two….Thr-NO! Sett kicked out of the Technical difficulties! Maxem, completely frustrated picks Sett up and throws him at the steel domed cage. He doesn’t realize, but he threw him at the door. The door flings open, and Sett flies onto the ground. Bending over, Sett picks up a chair, and as Maxem gets out of the domed cage, Sett nails Maxem in the head with the steel chair. Sett quickly picks Maxem up, and nails the Journey onto the steel chair. He stays down for the pin…but no ref will count outside the domed cage. Sett picks Maxem up, and flings him back into the domed cage. He then lays down for the pin for an assumed easy win as Maxem HAD to be unconscious. One…Two….Thre-NO! MAXEM KICKED OUT! The crowd bursts into approval as Maxem gets his shoulder up fooling everybody watching. He staggers to his feet, as Sett grabs him by the throat. Sett lifts him in the air, but Maxem brings his feet up and kicks Sett in the chest. Sett falls back into the domed cage, and comes back at Maxem. Maxem hits a hard clothesline on Sett, but Sett quickly gets up and tries to return another clothesline to Maxem. Maxem ducks, kicks Sett in the gut, and nails another Technical Difficulties. Barely able to stand back up, Maxem picks Sett up again and hits him again with the Technical Difficulties. Maxem, getting stronger with the adrenaline pumping through him, pushes Sett into the corner, and mixing his own blood that’s on his fist with the blood in Sett’s face, Maxem pounds on Sett in the corner of the cage. Maxem lifts Sett up, and sit down powerbombs him. The ref counts 1…2…3!!! Maxem is the official Wrestler of the Year!
KK – HAHA, I TOLD you Sett was going to have to wear a dress for a week!
TB – yeah, but you never said how good of a match that was going to be! Both men showed great heart.
KK – Nah, I could have taken on Sett in there.
TB – Go ahead then, he’s starting to get up…
KK – No…I’ll uh…I’ll let him shower first.
Commercial Break.
TB: Now it’s time to see if Conner and Anderson can work together for once! Now Anderson is a hall of famer and Conner probably will be someday too. You’d think this team would be unstoppable. I don’t blame Grimjack for putting them together, but these two have acted immature all along.
KK: Who can forget the pink thong!
TB: I wish I could. Anyway these two get a shot at the tag team titles and we get to see Morgoth in action again!
Young Grow Old hits and out comes Anderson looking gruff. He gets in the ring and waits as boos rain down again on him. King Of My World" by Saliva plays and Conner comes out to boos as well. He gets in the ring and Conner and Anderson start arguing about something.
TB: Here we go already!
KK: They’re discussing tactics.
South Texas Deathride hits and the fans suddenly go nuts and get to their feet as the tag team champs Sett and Morgoth walk out together. They slap fans hands as they waltz down the ramp and they get in the ring. They stretch out and look powerful and ready in the ring.
TB: I don’t think anyone can beat this team right now! Diamond and Fudge couldn’t!
KK: That was such a fluke it’s not even funny. Anderson and Conner will show that.
The bell rings and Conner and Sett start out for their teams. Conner starts to kick at Sett’s leg which is a strategy that has worked for him in the past. Sett holds his shin in pain and Conner bounces off the ropes and hits a low drop kick tripping Sett up. Conner tags Anderson in and Anderson just glares at him. Anderson steps over the top rope and grabs Sett’s leg and hits an elbow drop on him and holds on for the Attitudelock. Cunningham asks Sett if he gives up but he refuses. He powers out and kicks Anderson in the head. Sett tries to crawl over to tag Morgoth but Anderson grabs his leg and pulls him to his corner and tags Conner.
KK: Look at this teamwork Trent.
TB: I have to admit that Conner and Anderson are surprising me. Great gameplan to work on Sett’s leg!
Conner gets on the turnbuckle and Anderson holds Sett’s leg out for him and Conner jumps off and legsrops it. Sett squirms around in pain holding his leg. Then Conner sees Sett’s bandaged finger which was broken by Maxem last week and Conner steps on it. Sett holds his leg and finger in pain as the crowd boos. Conner gets on the turnbuckle and leaps off and hits the five star frogsplash on Sett. He covers but Morgoth runs in and breaks up the count. Anderson runs in but Morgoth starts punching him and knocks him out of the ring as the crowd is going nuts. Conner starts punching Morgoth but Morgoth blocks and delivers the Goth on Conner. Cunningham makes Morgoth leave the ring as the crowd is still going nuts and chanting his name. Sett and Conner are both down as Morgoth and Anderson are both reaching out their hands for tags. Sett and Conner both crawl to their corners and tag at the same time. Anderson and Morgoth rush each other but Morgoth clothes lines Anderson. Conner gets up but walks right into a viscious choke slam from Morgoth. Anderson gets up and receives the Goth. Morgoth covers . . .1 . . . 2 . . . 3!
TB: Still champions! And Morgoth continues the hot streak!
KK: Yet another fluke! Three times in one night! Damn!
Morgoth helps up his friend Sett who is injured and starts to help him to the back as South Texas Deathride blares.

TB : Ladies and Gentlemen, its that Time, its time for the Main Event. . .
KK : This one is going to be a classic, two of the greatest athletes ever to step in to a HWA ring are going to go at it here, for the HWA World Championship. . .
TB : What makes it even more interesting is the fact that these two guys swore NEVER to fight, and they never have. They were also the HWA Tag Team Champions. Practically live together. They also know each other so well, that I honestly believe neither man could ever out do the other. . .
KK : Not to mention the fact that they are battling it out inside a Hell in a Cell structure, with Ladders everywhere, this match will go down in HWA history, without doubt. . .
TB : Well, this is it, Fudge is in the back, and he is on his way down here first, but first lets see how this one all came about

“Soldier” by Eminem hit’s the P.A System and the fans erupt into cheers, as Fudge steps from the back, he begins jumping from side to side, warming up, he stands there. pyrotechnics go off from side to side behind him. Fudge then removes a T-Shirt he is wearing, advertising the match. Fudge continues down the ramp way. Fudge stops just outside the cell and grins, he then begins to test the cell wall, nearest to him only. Fudge walks inside the cell, and climbs into the ring. Fudge then pours his water over his head ad stretches some more before standing dead center in the ring, watching the curtains intensely.
TB : This is a different Fudge now, he didn’t slap the hand of ONE fan, he walked out calm and collected as usual, but he is completely focused on this match, nothing else
KK : We aren’t used to this. . .
TB : And its time to bring out our World Champion
"Points of Authority" hits the loud speakers as the fans in arena rise to their feet for "Your Hero" Michael Diamond emerges from the black curtain with his World Championship belt around his waist as he makes his way down the ramp way. Halfway down the ramp way, Michael comes to a halt and poses for the crowd as blue fireworks and pyrotechnics explode behind him. Standing upright again, Michael makes his way down the ramp way once more, this time slapping hands with the crowd as Lauren makes her way out from the back. Michael comes up to the Hell in a Cell and stops just short of it, glancing through the cage at his opponent in the ring. Michael Diamond and Fudge stared at each other as Lauren brushed up beside Michael, clearly showing who she supported in this match, before leaving Michael’s side Lauren leaned and gave Michael a kiss on the cheek, which surprised Michael
KK : My god, Fudge isn’t happy about that. Anyway What's up with this Trent, shouldn't Lauren have accompanied Fudge down to the ring?
TB : Well I guess things haven't been smooth sailing for the couple. It's almost as if Fudge's desire to be the World Champion is tearing apart his marriage.
Michael moved past Lauren and made his way inside the cell as the door was closed and barred behind him. Michael slowly slid into the ring, never taking his eyes off of Fudge so as to make sure he wasn't suddenly attacked. Standing up, Michael un-strapped the belt from around his waist and looked down at it. Looking back up at Fudge, Michael proudly held the belt up high, perhaps for the last time. Reluctantly, Michael handed the belt off to the referee as he then began to focus on his opponent as he did some last second stretches and warm-ups
TB : I have never heard any audience as loud as this one is for this match!
KK : Are you surprised? Look at these two guys. . .
Diamond and Fudge both step to the center of the ring as the referee tells them the rules of this match. Fudge and Michael begin the bad mouthing as the referee steps back, something we never thought we would see. The ex Tag Team Champions look into each others eyes, so much friendship yet so much anger that has built up over the last few weeks
TB : Look at the intensity in the eyes of these guys I don’t think they have blinked
KK : There’s the bell. . .
The opening Bell rings. . .
The two men stare at each other some more, and then they take a step back. Michael throws a big right which connects, and is followed by a right by Fudge. . .
KK : These two are nailing each other with some vicious shots
TB : Michael has gained the upper hand, obviously he is the better brawler
Michael punches Fudge backwards and then charges at him, spearing Fudge through the ropes to the floor. Michael mounts Fudge and continues to punch away at him, Michael then stands up and begins to kick away at him, driving Fudges head from his foot to the cell wall, as Fudges head bounces between the foot and the cell, Michael backs up
TB : I never thought I would see Diamond and Fudge battle it out like this,
Diamond is kicking his ass!
Diamond picks Fudge up and throws him over his shoulder, and begins driving Fudge head first into the cell wall, as Fudge begins to bleed. Michael drops Fudge and keeps hold of his hair and then rams Fudges head into the Ring post and Fudge falls back into the cell corner and slumps down. Michael begins to kick him in his wound
KK : God damn, Michael has already busted Fudge open, and Fudge looks like he is going to pass out or something
TB : Well Fudge does seem to be in a bad way
Diamond stops kicking Fudge and drags him up by the hair, Diamond stands Fudge up against the ring post, and as he swings a right, Fudge ducks and Diamond wraps his arm around the ring post, Fudge halts backwards, and with blood blurring his vision he grabs Diamonds are and begins smashing it against the ring post, Diamond pulls away and rolls into the ring holding his arm
TB : Fudge could be coming back into this one
KK : He is a fighter
Fudge slides into the ring and mounts Diamond, he then begins hammering down on him. Fudge stands up and Diamond rolls away and stands up, Fudge moves in and hits some big rights knocking Diamond into the corner, Fudge then jumps up onto the second ropes and begins punching down on Diamond, who drops to his ass
TB : So far this is a straight up brawl, its fists and feet
KK : Hey but expect some flights tonight!
Fudge jumps down and backs up, Diamond stands up a little weary and stumbles forward, Fudge in one leap he jumps into a hurracarana, as he gets on Diamonds shoulders, Diamond pushes him up and Fudges head drives against the roof of the cell, and Fudges head opens up even more, as Michael drops into a sit out power bomb
TB : These guys know each other so well, Michael must have anticipated Fudge going for an agility move and Michael countered it, great move
KK : Look at Fudges head, it is dripping blood
Diamond rolls into a cover, but only manages a two count. Diamond runs to the corner and climbs to the tops ropes, and as soon as Fudge reaches his feet, Diamond dives at him with a high cross body, and Diamond almost touches the roof of the cell, taking Fudge down on connection, Diamond rolls off and quickly hit’s a flipping leg drop, he nips up and drops an elbow to the heart of Fudge
TB : Here comes that speed. . .
Diamond lifts Fudge up and throws him to the corner, he follows him in. Diamond goes for a clothesline but Fudge moves and Diamond hit’s the buckles. Fudge turns Diamond and throws him to the opposite corner and runs at him nailing a clothesline, Fudge then springs onto the second ropes as Diamond staggers out of the corner, Fudge bounces back and over Diamonds head nailing a huge DDT!
KK : WHAT THE HELL?! Who else could innovate a move like that!
TB : Nobody that’s who!
Fudge covers Diamond, but only manages a two count. Fudge jumps up wiping his head as the blood continues to flow from that wound. Fudge lifts Diamond up and throws him outside the ring, Fudge then waits for Diamond to begin getting up and then he runs to the opposite ropes and as Diamond stands up, Fudge dives through the ropes, heading right for Diamond. Diamond side steps and Fudge hit’s the cell wall, with a hell of a lot of impact and speed
TB : HE BROKE THE CELL!!
KK : Fudges head and body have broke the cell wall
Fudge knocked the cell wall partially through, and Diamond dragged him from the wreckage and rolled him back into the ring. Diamond then walked around the ring and picked up a ladder, and threw that into the ring
KK : Here comes the Ladder!
Diamond slides into the ring and picks the ladder up, as Fudge stands up Diamond nails Fudge with the ladder, Fudge goes down. Diamond sets the ladder up, and as he does Fudge staggers up and falls forward grabbing Diamonds head and driving it in to the ladder, Fudge lands beside the ladder while Diamond leans against it
TB : Fudge just fell into a comeback!
KK : What if he cant get up?
Fudge barely gets to his feet, tremendous blood lost here by Fudge. Fudge pulls Diamond away from the ladder, and then drives his head back into it. Diamonds head snaps back, and Diamond rolls out of the ring and leans against the door. Fudge slides the ladder out against Diamonds ribs balanced with the ring apron. Fudge then runs to the other side of the ring and runs back diving into a baseball slide against the ladder, but Diamond moves and the ladder breaks the door down
TB : OH MY GOD! They just found there way out of the cell!
KK : This is the last thing we wanted
TB : Hold on Fudge may have jolted his knee there
Fudge rolls out of the ring and walks fine, his knee is clearly Okay. Fudge walks over to Diamond and Diamond swings a right at Fudge and then grabs Fudges head and drives it into the supporting tube of the cell, Fudge falls on his ass as the cut is now almost filling Fudges forehead and blood is dripping from it. Diamond, picks Fudge up and rolls him into the ring. Diamond then reaches under the ring and pulls out a chair. Diamond slides in with the chair and sets it up close to the corner, and then picks Fudge up placing him in that corner
TB : He is using the chair as Fudge!
KK : Huh?!
TB : Never mind
Diamond goes to the opposite corner and runs at Fudge springing off the chair and hitting a huge body splash, as Diamond steps away Fudge drops straight into position for The Prism. Diamond folds the chair and puts it on the chest of Fudge
TB : I would never have known these two were Tag Team Partners!
KK : I know. . .ITS GREAT!
Diamond begins to climb the turnbuckle, and he then stands on them for a moment
TB : Its as good as over now! Diamond jumps for The Prism, as he does Fudge shuffles from under the chair but his leg ends up under it, and Diamond connects with The Prism right on Fudges bad leg
TB : Fudge couldn’t get all the way from under that chair!
KK : That’s Fudges bad leg, all Diamond has to do is work on that and the referee will stop this thing!
Diamond lays practically unconscious from the impact of the chair on his head and neck and Fudge rolls out of the ring screaming in pain and holding his leg. As he does Lauren rushes inside the cell and runs over to Fudges side
TB : She knows better than anybody how much pain Fudge must be going through now, she has been there through his surgery
KK : Diamond has this match in the bag, and he deserves it too, he is going to take down Fudge the first time he ever fights him!
Lauren bends down to help Fudge but Fudge shoves her away
TB : Whats Fudge doing?
Lauren begins to cry as she walks from the cell and up the ramp way to the back, as she does Fudge is trying desperately to getup but he cant, as he tries Diamond rolls from the ring holding his neck and picks Fudge up who is basically hopping. Diamond rolls Fudge into the ring, and Fudge just holds his knee. Diamond covers Fudge, but for only a two count
TB : Diamond was trying to end this so he could get Fudge to the back
KK : Or to keep his title, y’know?
Diamond picks Fudge up and attempts to whip him to the corner, but as he does Fudge drops in a heap and holds his knee, so Diamond backs up
TB : What sportsmanship
Diamond then walks to the corner and jumps onto the top ropes, just as he does Fudge begins to get up using the ropes. Diamond flies off the ropes with a cross body, but Fudge reaches down, grabs the chair and dropkicks it right into Diamonds face, on impact Diamonds forehead splits wide open
TB : Both men are down, that had to be everything Fudge had left in the tank
KK : Obviously not because he is using the ropes again to get up
TB : Yeah, but now he is just propped in the corner
Fudge leans in the corner exhausted, as Diamond gets up with the blood coming from his forehead, and begins to walk over to Fudge, who throws a kick with his good leg, using the ropes for help, Diamond walks back and Fudge again kicks him, Diamond then charges Fudge who hit’s a forearm smash and then comes away from the corner nailing another, while hopping, and another, but the run is soon stopped as Diamond side steps a forearm smash and kicks Fudge in the gut then nails the Diamond Cutter
KK : DIAMOND CUTTER!
TB : That’s it, its over!
KK : The refs gone down. . .
TB : 1. . . . .2. . . . .KICK OUT!! Fudge got out of it
Fudge turned his body, in an effort to keep himself in this match. Diamond gets up off Fudge and gets in the referees face asking him how that’s possible, Diamond keeps his cool and goes over and picks Fudge up, he then whips Fudge to the ropes, but again Fudge is too weak and drops down holding his knee
TB : Fudges knee is going to be the deciding factor in this match
KK : But Diamond is refusing to capitalize on it
Diamond walks over to Fudge and picks him up as he does Fudge nails a stiff kick to Diamonds ribs, then a head kick, and then three big rights to the ribs and head. Diamond rocks backwards as Fudge nails a spin kick taking Diamond down, and further busting him open
TB : Fudges desire to win the World Title is blanking out the pain
KK : I think he was faking it!
Fudge walks to the corner and springs up to the top ropes, he looks around the arena as the fans scream, Fudge takes off with the Fudge Splash. . .But Diamond Moves
TB : Diamond just evaded the Fudge Splash
Diamond as quick as a cat grabs Fudge and locks in The Cutting Edge
KK : The Cutting Edge! Another Match winner of Michael Diamond and this time its gotta be over, Fudge has to tap out
TB : This is Diamonds submission Coot Agra
Fudge screams in pain as Diamond locks in his favorite submission move. Fudge tries pulling himself to the ropes but the wind has been knocked out of him, and it is making him weaker
TB : Fudge is desperately trying to get to the ropes, but I don’t think he can
KK : He cant make it!
Fudge begins to drag himself and Diamond to the ropes, as he reaches out his head every so often to check where he is, and Fudge continues to drag himself, but then he comes to a halt
TB : He hasn’t got anything left, this is it
Fudge goes almost limp, as the referee checks his arm Fudge bursts out and rolls away from the move but Diamond, keeps a firm grip of it on Fudge, who by this time is close enough to the ropes to grab them, and he does
KK : I’ll give him credit I never thought he would make it to the ropes
Diamond releases the hold, and it is clear now that he is losing his cool with Fudge. Diamond gets up and begins to yell at the referee, as he does Fudge rolls out of the ring, taking the chair with him, and he crouches beside the ring. Diamond stops yelling at the referee and walks over to the ropes, as he does Fudge nails him with the chair, and Diamond falls backwards, as Fudge throws the chair into the ring, it lands on Diamond and Fudge quickly scampers to the top turnbuckle
TB : Fudge Splash?!
Fudge leaps off the top ropes and nails a Fudge splash onto the steel chair, Fudge bounces off Diamond and rolls away from his holding his ribs, as Diamond lies bleeding like hell and hardly moving. Fudge moves back over to Diamond and pushes the chair off his chest and drops an arm over him, the referee goes down
TB : 1. . . . .2. . . . .KICK OUT! Diamond got out of Fudges Coot Agra with a chair!
KK : These two guys are putting on a clinic here!
Fudge holds his head, feeling the blood all over it he picks Diamond up and whips him to the corner, he then picks him up to the top ropes and sits him there, following him up, in position for a Top Rope Huracarana, Fudge leaps up and flies back as he does Diamond cuts the move short and as they land, Diamond has Fudge in a Single Leg Boston Crab
TB : Fudge is at least two feet away from the ring ropes, and his bad knee is being punished!
KK : He is lifting his arm he is going to tap
Fudge looks like he is about to tap, but he drags himself quickly to the ropes, and Diamond quickly releases the hold and picks Fudge up. Diamond then throws Fudge to the ropes and as Fudge comes back he ducks a clothesline by Diamond, bounces against the ropes and comes back with a spinning wheel kick, but Diamond catches it and throws Fudge over the ropes, and his back lands on the ladders, as he lands Fudge rolls through the door of the cell, taking the fight outside
TB : Oh no, Fudge just invited this match to get extreme
KK : That’s his territory though, he knows what he is doing
Diamond walks out after Fudge and drags the ladder out too
TB : Oh and now there’s going to be ladders?
KK : Kinda looks that way
Diamond sets the ladder up about fifteen feet from the cell and then goes back inside the cell and reaches sunder the ring. We see what must be a set of ten tables under the ring, and Diamond drags three out, all at once. Diamond takes one table and sets it up right behind the ladder, he then goes and grabs another table and sets that up behind the first table. Diamond goes back for the third table and stacks that on top of the first table, as he does Fudge gets up, holding his ribs, and grabs Diamond by the tight and his neck and spins him around smashing his head against the cell wall, as Diamond goes down, Fudge goes and grabs another three tables, and does the same as Diamond until there are two tables with an additional two stacked on top of them
TB : Oh hell no!
KK : Don’t worry there is no way in hell these guys can get up there unless they have a ladd-----OH SHIT! No way!
Fudge goes over to Diamond who by this stage is up and ready for Fudge, Diamond lashes out and goes on an onslaught of lefts and rights, Diamond then throws Fudge inside the cell, as Fudge gets back in the ring weak
TB : This match is going down in history no doubt
KK : They are beating the hell out of each other, I didn’t expect this much
Diamond gets in the rings after Fudge and walks over to him but Fudge ducks under Diamond and nails some big rights, and then jumps going for the Fudge U, but Diamond avoids it, and Fudge hit’s the mat, he quickly gets up but it met by another Diamond Cutter
TB : That’s it!
KK : No its not because Diamond is climbing the turnbuckles. . . Diamond gets on the top ropes and dives off nailing Fudge with The Prism, Diamond then slides back and covers Fudge, hooking a leg
TB : The referee covers. . .
KK : 1. . . . . .2. . . . . .KICK (3) OUT!!!
TB : Fudge kicked out of the Diamond Cutter and The Prism, but the referees hand hit the mat, that’s how close it was Keith!
KK : These two guys amaze me, Fudge has been able to survive everything Diamond has thrown at him, but Diamond has been able to counter everything Fudge has thrown at him
Diamond gets up and walks over to the ref, he grabs the ref by the throat and begins screaming at him
TB : Diamond may have lost it
KK : Fudge makes opponents get into that kind of mind frame with his god like resilience
TB : And Diamond frustrates opponents with his unbelievable skill to be able to counter any move and hit something that will USUALLY win him the match
KK : Hey Trent, Laurens back, what is she doing back?
Lauren is walking down the ramp way no longer crying but clearly distraught, Diamond stops hassling the ref and walks to the corner closest to Fudge but also behind Fudge. Diamond begins to reach down his tights, and we see him slide the Diamond Knuckles on
TB : Oh this is shear desperation now!
KK : Hey do anything to win, and this may be the only thing that Diamond can do to keep Fudge down
Diamond is waiting on Fudge but Lauren gets in the ring and stands in front of Diamond and begs him not to take it this far, Diamond listens to Lauren and slides the knuckles off and puts them back in his tights, as he does Lauren says no and she goes down his tights and gets them out, but Fudge turns and sees this
TB : I know how that would look to Fudge and you have to believe he wont be happy
KK : He isn’t
Fudge begins yelling at Diamond and Lauren, Diamond puts Lauren in the corner and stands in the way of her, so Fudge wont do anything stupid, but Fudge charges at Diamond and clothesline him, as he does Diamond goes back and hits Lauren, who goes down and drops the Diamond Knuckles, Diamond recovers quickly and gets up from one knee with a hell of a right hand with appears to knock Fudge out cold, as we hear Diamond scream something
Diamond : THAT’S FOR HURTING A WOMAN!!
We see Diamond throw something to the floor
TB : Was Diamond wearing those Damn Diamond Knuckles
KK : It looks like it
Diamond drops down and covers Fudge as the referee begins to count
TB : 1. . . . . . .2. . . . . . .Fudge just put his foot on the ropes
Diamond punches the mat in frustration, Diamond gets up and drags Fudge to his feet, Diamond then whips Fudge to the corner and follows him in with a spinning wheel kick, which connects and send s both men over the ropes, however Diamond lands on his feet. Diamond then begins climbing the inside of the Cell, and when he reaches the top Fudge is up, Diamond leaps back and nails a perfect Corkscrew Moon Sault taking Fudge down, as Diamond gets up holding his ribs
TB : Diamond is doing anything and everything in his power to take Fudge out and defeat him
KK : Seeing what Fudge can kick out of and survive, I think I would do anything as well!
Diamond slides into the ring, and checks on Lauren, he sits her up and she shakes the blow off, and rolls from the ring and stands beside it as Diamond waits for Fudge to get up, as he does Diamond goes for a baseball slide, but
Fudge moves aside and connects with a vicious super kick to Diamonds face, as he does Diamond goes down. Fudge slides into the ring
TB : We have seen Fudge standing look at his opponents like this before, he is about to fly!
KK : How can he have the energy to fly
Fudge runs to the other ropes as Diamond gets up, Fudge comes back and elevates himself over the top ropes and straight into Diamond, as both men fall through the door way of the cell
TB : These two men will never quit, they are going to take this one all the way
KK : You got that right, I have never respected these guys as much as I do right now!
TB : They are both bleeding profusely and they still have fight left in them!
Fudge stays on Diamond and begins to hit some rights, not full force because of the energy both men have lost. Fudge gets off Diamond and picks him up. Fudge props Diamond against the cell and then grabs the ladder and leans it against Diamond, Fudge then steps back and begins kicking the ladder, doubling the impact to Diamond, who falls forward and face first on the ladder, Fudge then picks Diamond up, and begins dragging him around to the other side of the cell
TB : What the hell, they’re coming our way!
Fudge begins to punch Diamond and then he lies him on the announcers table, and give him one more stiff right to be safe. Fudge then begins to climb up the side of the cell, Fudge reaches the top and looks down on Diamond, he then looks over at the ladder on the roof of the cell, Fudge walks to the ladder, and sets it up below the belt, he begins to climb, very slowly, physically exhausted. Diamond by this time has got up and made it to the cell roof as well
TB : We are going to see this match take a turn for the worse I can see it now Diamond hurries to the ladder and quickly catches up to Fudge on the other side, he grabs Fudge and falls backwards with a hellacious belly to belly suplex
KK : CAN YOU SEE THE CELL SHAKING?!
TB : What a move!
Both men stay down for a substantial amount of time, Fudge folded up, in a heap, and not moving, while Diamond is clutching his neck. After a couple of minutes Diamond makes it to his feet and pulls Fudge up, as he does, a fist fight begins, with Diamond easily taking the advantage as Fudge collapses to the floor, while inside the cell Lauren looks on with concern all over her face
TB : Fudge has nothing left, Diamond can easily beat him in a fist fight, and usually Fudge can at least hang in a fist fight
KK : No doubt. Fudge has lost a HELL OF A LOT of blood, he has been bleeding since moments into this match and he hasn’t stopped since, Diamond, could easily beat Fudge now
Diamond lifts Fudge up, who tries to punch Diamond, but he hasn’t got it left in him. Diamond drops Fudge to the floor, and begins climbing the ladder. Diamond gets a couple of steps up and as he does Fudge begins to stand up, Diamond looks down on Fudge in amazement as Fudge begins climbing the opposite side of the ladder to Diamond
TB : When these guys reach the top of the ladder they are twenty five feet from the roof of the cell, meaning they are an easy fifty feet from the floor, this isn’t good
Diamond and Fudge continue to climb, as they are in touching distance of the belt, they begin to nail each other with rights, this time with Fudge fighting to the end, however neither man falls from the ladder, but the fighting at top of the ladder causes it to rock, and it begins to falls to the side
TB : Please God No!!
The ladder hit’s the cell and both men fly over the side landing on the six tables, on impact the tables seem to explode into the air, but as the dust clears both men are buried under the tables
TB : STOP THE DAMN MATCH!
KK : These two men have been to hell and back for that World Title and god damn I want to see these guys in that ring again, this match is shortening their career by a hell of a lot!
About twenty wrestlers from the back rush down to the cell, and begin to take the tables off Diamond and Fudge, both men’s ring attire is ripped, and torn. The tables are moved almost completely and the wrestlers from the back are still trying to help these guys, but after around three minutes both men start to move and Fudge begins to crawl to the cell, coughing up blood on his way, while Diamond gets on his hands and knees and begins to also cough up blood
TB : These two great athletes are risking everything to entertain you fans, and we certainly hope you appreciate it, because these guys are both coughing up blood and injured severely
KK : Diamond is crouched over coughing the blood up and Fudge just collapsed again beside the ring
Fudge collapses as he does Lauren rushes over and sits beside him, crying, and trying to get him to get in the ring and just let Diamond win
TB : Lauren is thinking what’s best for both men
KK : I really hope Fudge heads her advice
Fudge turns over onto his side and pulls Lauren close and holds her, like it’s the last time he ever will, he is whispering something, as Lauren pulls away she breaks down and walks from the cell to the other wrestlers. Fudge manages to get up and drag himself into the ring, where he lies, on his back, ready to end this bloodbath
TB : Thank God he is listening
The wrestlers from the back help Diamond to the ring and push him in, Diamond then very, very slowly makes his way to Fudge and drops an arm over him
KK : Yes. This thing is finally over. . .
TB : 1. . . . . . . . . .2. . . . . . . . . .Fudge Rolls a shoulder out. . .What is he doing. . .
The sound of amazed disheartenment in Trent’s voice is prominent, and we see in the corner of the camera’s vision that he is shaking his head. Fudge rolls to his side and stays there as Diamonds arm stays draped over the body of Fudge, neither man move for a while as the wrestlers who came down move away from the cell and leave the ringside area
KK : Oh what’s it gonna take?!
Diamond slowly pushes himself up, and then falls back into the corner as Fudge still doesn’t move, Lauren gets back inside the cell and gets into the ring she walks over to Fudge and begins to kiss him, crying and asking him to be okay, as she pulls away there is blood all around her mouth, and Fudge rolls onto his back. Lauren gets up and goes over to Diamond, she grabs him by the face and wipes the blood from his mouth with her jacket, which she takes off, Diamond then moves Lauren aside, she climbs from the ring
TB : Please just end this fast
KK : I don’t want it to end but it has to before anybody is anymore hurt!
Diamond ascends the turnbuckles slowly, almost falling, and then stands on the top turnbuckle, he looks down on Fudge and leaps off with The Prism, but before he can connect Fudge rolls out of the ring
TB : Diamond just missed The Prism, and Fudge isn’t even in the ring to capitalise!
KK : Lauren doesn’t want this to go on, look she is trying to keep Fudge out of the ring, but she cant, he is on the apron
Fudge waits for Diamond to get up and then, leaps onto the top rope and just before he can spring at Diamond, Diamond runs over and pushes Fudge backwards, as he does Fudges head and back hit the top segment of the cell wall, and he falls to the ground, but lands on Lauren
TB : Lauren is down again!
KK : And that’s Diamonds concern by the looks of things!
Diamond drops onto his back and rolls out of the ring, he picks Lauren up and begins to carry her from the cell. Diamond begins his way up the ramp but before he can get very far Fudge gets up and runs after Diamond and then nails him in the back of the head taking Diamond down, and sending Lauren for a ride too
KK : I don’t know how these two men are carrying on!
TB : This is like a second wind, hell it’s a fifty third wind!
Fudge grabs Diamond by the hair and picks him up, he then runs at the cell and throws Diamond into it, Diamond hit’s the cell wall face first and flies backwards as Fudge grabs him again and pulls him 5 feet away from the cell. Fudge climbs the side of the cell and at the halfway support beam Fudge leaps backwards with an assai Moon Sault, which connects
TB : Oh what the hell, how are these guys doing this?
Fudge gets up slowly and begins to climb back up the cell wall, and all the way to the top, as he does Diamond gets up slowly and begins to climb the cell wall as well
KK : Not again!
TB : That’s how its looking!
They both reach the cell roof, and they both get to their feet, and ensue in another fist fight, as they do it appears like Fudge is going to fall off the side, but luckily, he ducks the right by Diamond and as Diamond turns Fudge jumps and nails a hurracarana taking them away from the edge, Fudge gets up pretty quick as does Michael and the two begin nailing each other with more big rights
TB : Back to the brawling!
Diamond mounts an advantage and when Fudge least expects it Diamond nails him with the Diamond Cutter, which knocks the wind out of Fudge. Diamond then grabs the ladder and sets it up. Diamond begins to climb the ladder
KK : He is gonna grab the belt!
TB : No he isn’t, he is looking at Fudge, he cant resist, he loves the feeling, he needs to grab the belt forget the show stopping moves!
Diamond looks down on Fudge and, in one leap, he dives down with The Prism which connects, however the impact doesn’t stop there, it drives both men through the roof of the cell, and upon impact with the ring it also send both men at least 2 feet though the ring, both men lie limp
TB : HOLY SHIT!!
The fans begin chanting those same words “Holy Shit!” and as both men lie down and out Diamond is still on top of Fudge and the ref counts TB : 1. . . . . . . . . .2. . . . . . . . . .3!!
KK : Its over its finally over!!
Suddenly Kevin Conner runs down the ramp amidst boos and slides into the ring. He picks up Diamond and hits the Soul Searcher. He then goes outside and hits Fudge with a steel chair sending him over the top. Conner goes up on top and picks Diamond up and hits the Conner Driver. He goes on the top and hits One Of A Kind. The crowd is booing and Conner looks around and locks in The Career Killer. Conner doesn't let go. Fudge comes in but Conner lets go and locks it on ducks Fudges closeline and hits a superkick sending Fudge against the ropes Conner picks up the chair and nails Fudge once again he sets the chair on Fudge and hits Rolling Thunder. Conner goes outside and hits a summersalt leg drop over the top on Fudge. Conner gets up and locks in the Career Killer on Diamond longer.
TB: This is disgusting! Diamond and Fudge just beat each other almost to death and now here is Conner with a cowardly attack! Why Conner Why!
Suddenly “One Armed Scissor” hits and Grimjack runs out as the fans go nuts. He slides in the ring and Conner sees this and lets Diamond go. Conner gets up and him and Grimjack start arguing about something. Conner is telling Grimjack to stay out of this. Conner pushes Grimjack and Grimjack pushes back. The crowd is going nuts anticipating a fight between the two friends.
KK: This should be good!
TB: No! Enough friendships were broken tonight!
Suddenly “All Along the Watchtower” hits and out walks David Jackson as the boos are loud as ever and “ASSHOLE” chants begin. He has a mic and talks as he waltzes down to the ring like he owns the joint.
Jackson: Well well well. Such poise and panache tonight! What a great match we had! Not to mention this dandy shoving match.
Conner starts to remember who the real enemy is and backs away from Grimjack and they both stare down Jackson as he gets in the ring.
Jackson: Now before you boys do anything hasty I have an announcement to make! Next week . . . on Survival . . . it will be Kevin Conner . . . versus Michael Diamond . . . for the HWA title!
TB: What! He can’t do that! Morgoth is supposed to get that shot!
KK: Morgoth gets it in two weeks! Jackson is making Diamond defend it next week too!
Conner looks shocked but happy as well.
Jackson: On one condition. Conner, you have to leave the ring right now. That’s right . . . get out of my ring!
Conner looks over at Jackson, then Grimjack, then down at Diamond who is starting to wake up and looking around.
Conner: “Diamond, now this isn’t The D vs Miltia, don’t worry this is just business. and heres another thing you might not know yet on Survival I got a shot at the World Title against you have a nice day.”
Conner nods his head at Grimjack as he walks away and out of the ring down the ring steps. One of a Kind hits as Conner goes back up the ramp to loud boos. Grimjack stares with hatred at Jackson.
Jackson: Now I believe me and you have some unfinished business.
Grimjack rushes Jackson with a clothesline but Jackson ducks it, turns around with a kick to Grimjack’s gut, and hits a diving power bomb. He picks Grimjack up and hits a huge DDT. Grimjack slowly gets up but Jackson has a steel chair and bashes him with it. Michael Diamond is finally up but gets hit with the steel chair as well. Jackson starts jabbing Grimjack in the back with the chair as the bell is ringing and the fans boo.
TB: Someone stop this carnage! This is disgusting!
Suddenly “Airbag” by Radiohead blasts over the PA and no one knows what’s going on. Jackson looks around expecting someone to run out.
KK: What the hell? Who is this song for?
Suddenly the crowd goes bezerk as none other than Neil himself runs in through the crowd and slides into the ring as Jackson doesn’t see him.
TB: Oh my god!!! Neil!!! He’s back!!!
Neil taps Jackson on the back and Jackson turns around and his eyes get huge in surprise to see his ex friend standing there. Neil kicks the chair out of Jackson’s hands. He starts punching Jackson who is too shocked to respond as the crowd is loving it. Neil hits Jackson with a DDT and Jackson slides out of the ring holding his head. Jackson runs back up the ramp holding his head as Neil poses on the turnbuckle and points and yells at Jackson as the crowd cheers him on. Grimjack and Diamond are getting up and they slap hands and congratulate Neil. Diamond gets the HWA title handed to him and the three men celebrate. Meanwhile Fudge is seen limping to the back by himself and looks angry . . .
